Despite a little rain, this year's Family Fun Day was another great success! Thanks to the organizers and all the volunteers who made it a wonderful day.
The LPAA is proud to present its annual Family Fun Day on Saturday June 2nd, 2012 in Cheltenham Park. Please join us to celebrate our community in what is truly one of the best family neighbourhood events of the year! Festivities will include:
- a variety of carnival games and races, bouncy castles, crafts, pet show, water gun battle and other activities throughout the day;
- a family breakfast in the park and then BBQ lunch hosted by Lawrence Park Community Church;
- a bring your own food to BBQ family picnic dinner (a "dry" event this year as a result of new City policy); and
- an open-air DJ dance party with Planet Dance. This year's theme is "2012 Summer Games" - and will build on the theme of the summer Olympics.

We'll have an LPAA information booth setup where you can find out more about the association, its current sports programs and how to get involved on a volunteer or coaching basis.
